Getting to MWSUG

It may not be easy to get to MWSUG, but it will definitely be worth it.

If you are flying to MWSUG, there are two options for airports.

• The closest airport is Dane County Regional Airport (MSN). MSN is approximately 5 miles from the conference hotel, Hilton Madison Monona Terrace. From MSN, you can call for a courtesy vehicle. To request the courtesy vehicle to the conference hotel, you can use the courtesy phone located at the hotel board between Baggage Claims 1 and 2, or call the hotel directly: 608-255-5100. Visit MSN Ground Transportation for other modes of local transportation from the airport to the hotel.
  
  
• If you are feeling a little more adventurous, then you may want to considering fly to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and checking out the sites in Chicago before heading over to Madison, WI. From ORD you can take a bus to Madison. Van Glader Bus Company has buses that go between ORD and Madison. When checking the bus schedule, enter:
  • Origin: O'Hare International Airport - Chicago O'Hare Airport, IL
  • Destination: 250 N. Lake St - Madison UW Campus - Madison, WI
  From the Madison UW Campus, it is less than a mile to Hilton Madison Monona Terrace.
